Every four years, olympics atheletes from all over the world meet at the Olymoics Games to compete against each other. The winners take home medals and are looked upon as the best amateur olympics athletes in the world.

The first olympics were held nearly 3,000 years ago in ancient Greece. Athletes came from all over Greece to participate in running events, wrestling, boxing,, and chariot races. The five days of competition ended in a grand victory banquet with food, dancing and singing.
